TraumaMan®
System
US Patent: 6,780,016

The TraumaMan®
System, a
cutting edge surgical simulator, has been
evaluated and approved by the leading Surgical Education Society as an alternative to live non-human models or cadavers for
its
Surgical Practicum of the leading Trauma Training Course. The TraumaMan®
System is also
widely used in Military courses, EMS Training and other Trauma Surgery
simulations.
The
TraumaMan®
System
is an anatomical human body form designed for students
to practice several of the surgical procedures taught in the surgical
skills training, including Cricothyroidotomy, Chest Tube Insertion,
Pericardiocentesis, Diagnostic Peritoneal Lavage, and IV Cutdown.
The
TraumaMan®
System
is a simulated human torso with a ventilator and four anatomically
correct surgical zones and an ankle base for IV Cutdown. It is designed
for replaceable tissue sets that allow each student a "first cut"
experience.
For training courses, we work with the Class Coordinator to
customize a program that fits their needs from large, multi-class
trainings to small, intimate arrangements. Simulab has program
pricing and implementation that can meet the needs of each individual
training course. To learn more about our
TraumaMan®
System, program
implementation, class scheduling or pricing plans, please contact us at
